All acoustic
guitars have solid wood tops, come in solid or laminated backs
and sides. Wood for both electric or acoustic include standbys
like, maple, alder, mahogany, ash and basswood. Plus several exotic
woods (depending on availability) like walnut, paduce, bubinga,
koa, rosewood, spotted maple etc. Electric necks can be ordered
with plain or figured (curly or birdseye) maple. Rosewood, ebony
or maple fretboards. Acoustic tops come in sitka, European caldera
sitka, and adinronda red spruce, or western cedar. The laminated
sides are rosewood or sappelle, and a variety of solid woods.
You can order name brand hardware, such as Seymour Duncan, emg
or dimarzio pickups, Schaller or grover tuners etc..
